Globaldreamers is on Passover vacation

Dear Friends,
The last few weeks have been really busy for us and we are now officially on Passover vacation. The kids and I participated and built a website for the GVC competition Give Back Something International with two great classes and educators from the USA, Matthew Kuntz of Oak Park , Ilinois. and Rick Glass of Warsaw Indianna. Our school of Kindness has been a phenomenal experience for me and the kids and we are grateful.
We will be celebrating the Jewish holidays and Passover begins next week. There are many materials on Jewish holidays for those of you who would like to see.
I wish to thank everyone who has been taking part in our last online projects and they are really great. Check out our peace project which is still continuing and schools are still invited to join us.
Upon our return we will have the national Holocaust day in Israel and we would ask any schools to please join us in studying about my Mother Sonia Frenkel and the others .God rest their souls.
This is the 2009 unit and what we have so far.
We would be very appreciative and grateful to those who join this important memorial for my Mom's legacy. Thank you.
I know many schools are on spring break and I wish to thank all of the fabulous people in Globaldreamers.
I look forward to hearing from all of you.
Sincerely,
Marsha Goren

Israeli Students React To Safe Haven
Safe Haven screens in Israel
Less than two weeks after its release, Safe Haven: The Warsaw Zoo has attracted the interest of several international film festivals, television programmers, and Israeli school-children.
"Thanks to Marsha Goren, the film's Education Outreach coordinator in Israel, students are already watching the film in their classrooms," said Richard Lester, executive producer of Blue Heron International Pictures. "In fact, we have received all sorts of e-mail from them enthusiastically endorsing the film."
The student letters, along with their photos, have been posted on the Global Dreamers page on the company website at www.blueheronpix.com .
"I love those letters," said award-winning director Gary Lester. "You can tell that the thoughts expressed in them came from the heart."
"Next month, thanks to producer Alex Ringer, the film will be broadcast on national television in Israel with Hebrew sub-titles," said Lester.
Israeli television will also be re-broadcasting Lester's first Holocaust documentary, Deliver Us From Evil, which recently won a Crystal Reel Award from the Florida Motion Picture & Television Asociation.
Safe Haven veteran producer Feliks Pastusiak reports from Warsaw that the film also received a warm welcome from Ryszard and Teresa Zabinski, the two children of the heroic zoo-keepers.
The film's trailer is currently running on The Internet Movie Data Base at www.imdb.com, where it has already attracted three million viewers.
